Its Gobble, Gobble day!

 Happy Gobble Gobble Day!!

Can you believe that it is Turkey Day already!  I can't it is crazy how fast this year has been going, except when I am ready to deliver this BABY! This is our 3rd year of being here in Utah.  We miss being around our family and miss the joys that come with family visits.  I know right now I am missing my family A LOT!! I miss our family traditions of me being in charge of the pies, watching the Macy's Day Parade as a family, smelling the turkey, seeing my mom and sisters in the kitchen, Me trying to sneak some roll dough, then for lunch we would always go to Jack in the Box for cheeseburgers to hold us over until Dinner time.  Then my grandparents would come over and we would all be together.  One big family.  We would stuff our faces full, way more than what our stomachs can handle.  Then mom would whip up some real whipping cream.  The girls usually trying to get grandma to let them lick the beaters! Then we would all gather in the family room, snuggle together with all of our blankets and start watching all the Christmas Movies.  That is what makes me miss my family!

Now that we are a family of our own and hours away from family its our turn to make out our own traditions.  We get to take things from both sides of our families and mesh them together to make traditions for our kids.

Here are some of the traditions we have been able to make:

Make dough boys for breakfast (or scones)
Watch the Macy's Day Parade together
Cook while doing that
Eating snacks and appetizers for lunch (Since no jack in the box up here)
Eating dinner as a family
Cleaning up
To me the most important part of Thanksgiving is watching Christmas Movies
all the old favorites that have now became my children's favorites
White Christmas (with Bing Crosby and Danny Kane)
Christmas Vacation
Miracle on 34th St (original and black and white)
ELF
Jingle all the way
Frosty
Rudolph the Red nose reindeer!
Of course we usually cant watch all of them but then continue to do it the through the weekend

So many traditions and so much to do all in one day.  Of course some has changed this year just because of me being on bed rest.  But Hubby is doing a wonderful job to fill my shoes.  So most will be done!

One thing I think of on Gobble Gobble day is what we are grateful for.  We have so much to be grateful especially this year.  So many that I can't list it all, but I can some.

Gospel
My hubby
My children
My family all of them
Our health
Doran is still cooking
Hubby's job
friends
Ward family
Beautiful winter weather
great Doctors and hospitals
Epi Pens

Of course so much more.

Even though this has been one of the toughest years for us we have so much to be grateful for.  I hope that as we all celebrate this "Thankful" holiday we can remember that.  Not the things that we are short on, or lacking.  But what we actually have! That is what I am doing and every day before and every day after.  That we can all keep our thankfulness in our hearts all year round.

Like we say in our family

HAPPY GOBBLE GOBBLE DAY!!

We have had it for a little while and wanted to test it on my kids.  As many of you know that  my children have super sensitive skin and it is incredible hard to be able to find one that works with them and that they like.  So I have been on the search, especially now that it is the COLD, DRY, WINTER in Utah right now.  I fell in love with it right away.  Also Hannah did too.  She actually took it from me and was willing to keep using it.  She loved it.  She loved the smell, she loved how it moisturized her and kept her skin very soft.  She uses it everyday especially after shower day! Just because of that response I would spend the money to get it so she can be happy and not suffer through the winter! I highly recommend it to anyone.  I know that if there is any left by the time Doran comes around we will be using it on him.

A very special day...

My little Squishy Man turned 6 today! I still cant believe that 6 years ago we welcomed him into the world.  He was one special boy.  Our first boy and then he was the first boy after a string of girls on my hubby's side.  I still remember that we told my FIL that if we found out it was a boy, I would personally call him FIRST.  One the way home from the ultrasound, of course I cried.  I come from a family of 4 girls I dont know much about boys! Then once we got home I quickly called my FIL at work and let him know that he was the first call.  He knew instantly it was a boy! He was ecstatic and so were we.
We welcomed him into the world at 6 am on Nov 21!! He was a whopping 9 lbs! He was huge and when I first saw him I saw my FIL.  It was just amazing.

He has always has a special place in my heart for him and he knows it.  He flickers those huge eyes of his and it melts my heart! Those hugs and I love you's are just precious!

Happy Birthday my Squishy Man!

Since we knew our next weeks until Christmas was going to be crazy we decided to get the house ready.  It was different this year.  Usually I do most of it with the kids, but not this year.  It was all the kids and daddy's job. They did a wonderful job!!

Now the house is ready so we can focus on Doran! I will be 36 weeks on Dec 18th so we expect him to come around there.  It would be wonderful if he was here for Christmas!

Lots of Fun and just plain ole exhausted :)

My review:
I was so excited to be able to get this product and review it. It is a wonderful product. At first I was a little skeptical about it, that all you have to do is use water and that is it. But I put it too the test. I scrubbed my bathroom. I live in an older apt. Also the previous tenants were four single guys and so it nice and used lets say. We have used everything to try and get it cleaned and to keep it cleaned. Really nothing has worked. But then the Ultimate Cloth came into our lives. IT is AMAZING! It scrubbed everything off. It was so shiny and clean got into the grooves and the cracks. It was bright and I didn't even have to go back and dry it off. We thought it might leave a layer of film after it dried. BUT IT DIDN'T!! It was so easy and so worth it! We even used it on the mirror and NO STREAKS. Then it almost puts a barrier block on it. My bathroom is still cleaned with 6 of us using it and its been a few days! I know that I will be using this again. Also that I have became a huge fan. The other nice thing is that it is easy on your hands. My daughter who is extremely sensitive can use it!! I love it and recommend it HIGHLY!!

A very long day...

My OBGYN appt

Yesterday was a VERY LONG DAY! My OBGYN went actually fast. Talked about pain management.  which I am a epidural gal all the way.  Also had to explain that they do it a little stronger just because when I was finished giving birth to Emma I felt every STITCH my dr did.  Of course I just sat there and squeezed my mothers hand so hard.  Probably harder that I did during birth.

Also talked about an episotomy.  That I have had to had one with each previous child.  So she explained to me how she takes precaution about that procedure. So I just explained that with Benny they tried really hard, both my midwife and I wanted her to deliver but just wasnt possible.  Once my dr cut me he literally PLOPPED out!

Then spoke about the steroid shots.  She explained to me that the High Risk doctors Trump her but if my cervix was a lot shorter than last time she would probably do them.

Our last conversation was how much longer do we do the meds and the shots.  She wants us to go to 36 weeks for both.  Hopefully I stay pregnant for the next 4 weeks.  Then if I have gone to 39 weeks she will enduce me! We both said sometimes I just wish he would come! She understands my pains, frustration and yet she is there willing me on.

NEXT APPT!

Now it was time to go to the hospital to do see the High Risk drs.  First off we waited over 1 and half hours just to be seen.  Then finally it was time to take us back.

Doran is growing just the way he should.  He is head down (which is why my pelvic area hurts so INCREDIBLY bad)  He is 4lbs! growing faster and faster everyday. I have a strong feeling that if he waits for the 39 weeks he is probably going to be over 9 lbs!

Now the fun part.  Yes my cervix is shrinking rapidly.  Not good at all.  He did another FFN and then told me that he is concerned about my amniotic fluid levels lower than he likes it.  He isnt sure how it is leaking either. If I am leaking it from my cervix than my FFN will come back positive.  So now it is Non stress tests and AFI test (the levels).  So he sends me over to Labor and Delivery to be monitored and await the results of the FFN.  After a few contractions, two hours later they got my results back.  NEGATIVE which is good. Just dont know why my fluids are so low.

CONCLUSION

Next wed another High Risk Dr's appt.  Then on Friday another trip to Labor and Delivery for a Non-Stress test and AFI test.  Another exhausting week.  We are just ready for him to come and yet we know he needs to continue in me.

HOPE FULL EXPECTATION

Staying in me another 4 weeks. He needs to continue to cook in the oven!! Lets hope and pray he makes it.  I honestly dont think I can see him be so little and then be in the NIC U for a long time.  I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for both of us and I am just along for the ride!

More bed rest to make sure of this and fun but yet frustrating just waiting!
